Rev. Dr & Canon Trond Bakkevig is the Dean of Vestre Aker Deanery in the Diocese of Oslo. He holds a doctorate in theology from the University of Oslo, and is a parttime research fellow at the Peace Reasearch Institute in Oslo and at the Norwegian School of Theology. He is also the Convenor of the Council of Religious Institutions of the Holy Land. He was deeply involved in the follow-up of July 22, in the Cathedral in Oslo and with the Labour Party.
